2025 Bernard McClorey Memorial Golf Tournament TEAM SHEEHAN NEEDS EXTRA HOLES TO WIN BERNIE TOURNEY SUNDAYJune 29, 2025By: Oscar Madison - World Bowl ReportNorthville, (MI) - Danny (Son) Sheehan's closest to the hole putt in the second overtime at the Bernie Tourney ended up just under four feet short on a 42 foot putt to clinch back to back Bernie Tourney Titles for Team Sheikerville at Salem Hills Golf Club.Three teams finished the 18 hole two man scramble tournament with 17 points to force a putt-off. Teams earned two points for a birdie - one point for a par and plus-one point for double bogie.Team McDonwald (Donny and Son Sean) and Team Brendanton (Brendan McClorey and Prospective Assistant Equipment Manager Colton Roby were the other Playoff teams.Brendan McClorey had the closest putt on the first playoff hole. His 26 foot par was just two feet from the hole. Danny had the next closest which elminated the McDonalds.
TEAM SHEIKERVILLE +17 (Extra Holes Champions)The Sheehans started slow for their standard but birdied the last three holes to finish in regulation with the top score. The Father-Son combo had a tournament high 4 birdies to take home the trophy and large Oatmeal Raisin cookies.

TEAM BRENDANTON +17The Second Place team posted 15 pars and a birdie good for top 18 hole score. The guys came up just short in the second round of the Putt-off.
TEAM OLD McDONWALD +17Donny and Sean scored an impressive three birdies to go along with 11 pars to finish in third place after being eliminated in the first round of the putt-off.

TEAM POSSE BOSS +16Brian Broderick & The Commish teamed up and put on a show. Broderick drained a 24 foot par putt on the opening hole to set the tone. These two do not get along but managed 13 pars and two birdies to miss out on the playoff by a single shot.TEAM LAS VENEGAS +11Dave Venegas teamed up with Assistant GM (Son in law) Brandon Riney to score 11 pars and a birdie on the Salem Hills track which was in top form this season. TEAM McLAUGHLIN-Maroon +5Daniel & Matthew teamed up and had fun. They were joined by Sean McLaughlin and Ryan McLaughlin who did not keep score due to an Ypsituck shoulder injury.
